Standard Showdown

⚔️ MTG STANDARD – COMPETITIVE EVENT ⚔️

Ready to put your Standard deck to the test?

Join us at Wizard’s Retreat for a competitive evening of Magic: The Gathering Standard, using 60-card constructed decks.

🔥 Format: Standard
🃏 Deck Size: Minimum 60 cards
🔄 Sideboard: Up to 15 cards
🎯 Play Style: Competitive
📄 Proxy Friendly

Proxies are welcome! We want players to be able to test and compete with the decks they want to play without card availability or price getting in the way. Proxies should be clear, readable and easily identifiable during play.

Matches will follow the current MTG Standard card pool and banned/restricted list, so make sure your deck is Standard legal.

🏆 Prizes
Prizing will be based on attendance — the more players we get, the bigger the prize pool!

Winner will get a Hobbit Box topper!

Whether you're testing a tournament deck, preparing for competitive play, or just fancy seeing how your Standard brew performs against a stronger field, come down and give it a go.

Bring your deck. Bring your sideboard. Prepare for battle.
